Boghossian Foundation The Boghossian Foundation based at the Villa Empain in Brussels promotes the dialogue between the cultures of the East and West; through temporary exhibitions, as well as cultural programs including live arts, talks and lectures. www.foundationboghossian.com SILA project: SILA is a non-profit initiative created under the umbrella of the Boghossian Foundation. Its aim is to promote, preserve and offer a contemporary outlook on traditional crafts, knowhow and oriental cultures through the creation of an edition of objects. A first project has already been introduced positively during the latest Limited Edition Art Fair 2024 at the Villa Empain.

Project Manager (f/h/x)

Description

OBJECTIVE AND MISSION

Contribute to launch Sila as a new project of the Boghossian Foundation based on different crafts heritage of the precious history of the cultures spread on the Silk Roads, bringing to light their exquisite aesthetics, crafts and heritage.

Sila is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible to coordinate this project holistically. The Project Manager will follow up on new products, suppliers, work sheet, budget, events and actions with Ralph Boghossian. The ideal candidate will be able to personify the Sila spirit through a deep understanding and conveyance of brand values, culture, image, and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations:

• Follow up on production, orders and delivery
• Coordinate exhibitions and events to present products to clients
• Understanding of the marketing needs and follow up on specific needs
• Build a contact file; the ‘Supplier Master File; listing all existing source, suppliers and potential new ones.
• Report after each meeting all necessary notes and information on the ‘Project Master file’
• Mostly remote job with one day per week in Brussels
• Assist with special projects as needed.

 

PROFILE 

Education:

• Business Bachelor or Master degree
• Language skills : fluent in English and French, other language is a plus 

Required Experience:

• Min. 5 year of professional experience in a similar project manager position 

Skills / Abilities: 

·         Hands on, self-starter, proactive and autonomous

·         Organized, structured and resourceful.

• Must be available to work with flexible hours
• Availability to travel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS suite (excel, Word, PPT)
• Experience or affinity with luxury or art is a plus

Personal Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
• ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision

·         Ability to work in an entrepreneurial family context

·    Affinity with very high end products, markets and clientele                                

 

Diplômes

Professional bachelor or master

Expériences

A first professional experience of at least a few years is mandatory.
